Synopsis
The U-96 has been sent to the Mediterranean. Following a resupply stop in Vigo, Spain, the submarine’s course is set for Gibraltar. A night attack by aircraft against British vessels during their transit forces the U-96 into a steep dive. At a depth of 280 meters, the submarine strikes the ocean floor.
