It’s yet another television program receiving too much praise. Several people at work suggested I give it a try. *Dark* has a strong reputation and high scores online, which led me to begin watching. I finished the initial season and have begun the second, but all I can say is that it moves at a snail's pace, feels bewildering, and doesn’t hold my attention. The characters are dull and lack depth; the storyline itself isn't particularly complex or engaging—it revolves around time travel. Characters occasionally shift between different points in time, and that essentially constitutes the narrative. There’s nothing to create suspense or make me invested in what happens next, no reason to eagerly anticipate each new episode. I am looking forward to the conclusion of the second season so this monotony will be over. The one positive aspect of the show is its main musical score.
