Synopsis

In the wake of a brutal killing, Leaphorn and Chee find themselves operating independently as the FBI assumes jurisdiction of the investigation. Special Agent Washington makes an unforeseen call on the Leaphorn household. Meanwhile, Manuelito seeks clues in the lands south of the border.
