Synopsis

A note from his congressional colleague, Mark Simonson, pulled John and Kim toward Meridian, Mississippi, a town gripped by unrest surrounding the fight for voting rights and shadowed by the disappearance of three activists. As Kim felt the unsettling influence of the Hive permeating the area, word that Loengard had arrived in Mississippi spurred Bach into action.
