Dancing with the Stars — Season 13
Season thirteen of *Dancing with the Stars*, which launched on September 19, 2011, brought back familiar faces: judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman, and Bruno Tonioli, alongside hosts Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke Charvet. Twelve couples stepped onto the dance floor to compete, and a new tradition began this season – introducing Alan Dedicoat, the show’s announcer, who welcomed Harold Wheeler and his band after each round of performances. The season culminated in a truly remarkable victory for actor J.R. Martinez, who captivated audiences and secured the win by an unprecedented margin—over nine million votes ahead of the runner-up! It marked the first time in *Dancing with the Stars* history that a winner held such a significant lead. Ultimately, J.R. danced his way to the top, besting reality TV star Rob Kardashian and actress Ricki Lake, who finished in second and third place respectively.

For the first time, the couples take the stage.
