Synopsis

Dalgliesh brought Swayne and Lampart in for questioning. He learned that Lampart was having an affair with Lady Barbara, who confided that she was pregnant and believed she would inherit everything. Just then, Lady Lavinia appeared and revealed that Sir Paul had secretly altered his will.
