Synopsis

News of an uncle’s passing and Wilson’s subsequent inheritance of an Honourable Aristocrat title brought a wave of flattery and attention from all of Walmington-on-Sea… save for Mainwaring, whose jealous resentment bordered on the theatrical. The situation escalated further when it was proposed that Wilson allow his sergeant to perform the ceremonial presentation of a symbolic key, intended as a gesture of freedom in honour of a visiting Soviet war ally.
