Synopsis

After two and a half years, the United States has at last declared its entry into the European conflict. Walmington-on-Sea finds itself tasked with welcoming an American detachment, and the platoon promptly arranges a celebratory reception. Yet, strained by meager rations and cultural misunderstandings, tempers flare on both sides. Nevertheless, this alliance is of critical importance, demanding that bridges be rebuilt between them.
