Synopsis

The platoon’s inaugural private gathering, hosted by Mainwaring at his rather lackluster residence, proved distinctly underwhelming. It was abruptly curtailed, however, by a sudden bomb alert – targeting, of all places, his bank! The money was then conveyed to the church, where it was painstakingly counted amidst characteristic fumbling and rising tension before being transported away. But Captain Mainwaring’s driving of the horse cart resulted in yet another series of unfortunate events.
