Synopsis

The platoon received orders to retrieve a downed German airman, his parachute tangled high in the church steeple’s clock tower. Bringing him down proved difficult enough, complicated by the inability to communicate. Matters worsened when Jones accidentally dislodged the ladder, and the local warden declined any assistance.
