Synopsis

With the elevation of Frazer to Lance Corporal, Captain Mainwaring inadvertently stirred a considerable tension between the newly promoted man and Sergeant Jones. However, as Frazer began to display an unsettling sense of self-importance, Mainwaring felt compelled to revoke the promotion, restoring order – and a degree of equilibrium – to the platoon.
