Synopsis

As the church bells pealed out, the platoon sprang into motion. Jones led half of them toward Godfrey’s cottage, intending to establish a machine gun post. Meanwhile, Wilson, unaware of Jones's whereabouts, also made his way to the cottage, where they each mistook the other for an enemy and prepared to engage.
