Synopsis

The summer heat spurred George, Bill, and Allie to seek refuge in Bill’s pool. Their hopeful plunge, however, revealed an unwelcome surprise: the water was thick with algae. No amount of effort – oars, rubber boots, pots, pans, even yellow rain hats – could dispel the green film. Exhausted, George, a thoughtful glint in his eye as he sipped lemonade, conceived a simple solution. A siphon, he realized, might be just the thing.
