Synopsis

The chill had driven even Jumpy, a creature of the open fields, to seek shelter within the walls of George and The Man's country house. The Man himself noted the unusual coldness permeating the home, a cold that seemed deeper than the season warranted. Investigating, he discovered a network of small holes in the walls and other openings through which drafts snaked and the occasional squirrel darted. He resolved to insulate the house, understanding that insulation was meant to trap warmth within.
