Synopsis

Mr. Zoobel introduced George to his latest acquisition: a chameleon. "She possesses a remarkable gift," Mr. Zoobel explained, "the ability to alter her skin to match her environment." But after the chameleon vanished, Mr. Zoobel pondered, it seemed she might have shifted her colors, becoming one with her hiding place.
