Synopsis

The first day of spring on the Renkins' farm found George and Bill arriving just as Dumpling, the family duck, settled to incubate her eggs. They watched her depart, and George, in a moment of unexpected duty, took her place. Soon after, one of the eggs hatched, and the newly emerged duckling, mistaking George for its mother, nestled against him. Now, George faced the task of gently guiding the little bird toward its true parent, a challenge requiring patience and a kind heart.
