Synopsis

The winter chill found George, and with it, a familiar longing for slumber. He attempted a hibernation, a deep, dreamless sleep to weather the cold months. But the world, persistent and intrusive, kept breaking through. He would stir, disoriented, pulled back to consciousness by sounds and sensations – a rustle of leaves, a distant call, a fleeting thought that wouldn't let him rest. His attempts at peaceful dormancy were repeatedly thwarted, leaving him perpetually on the cusp of sleep, forev
