Synopsis

George learned everything he needed to know about angling from Mr. Quint at Lake Wannasinklake. Yet, his initial attempts proved fruitless; he hauled in nothing but discarded refuse. However, a discovery soon ignited a new ambition: an American eel. The desire to catch it burned within him, fueled further when Bill declared his intention to capture the eel and "take him home." George yearned to join the pursuit, a longing complicated by the lack of a fishing rod.
