Synopsis

George yearned to improve his soccer skills, but fate—or rather, Steve and Betsy’s Aunt Margret—had other plans. His aspirations of practice were thwarted by a new duty: dogsitting their spirited canine, Charkie. The dog was a whirlwind of playful energy, constantly seeking escape from the back alley where George attempted to hone his skills. Each potential exit route seemed to be met with a new and inventive strategy for freedom. It appeared that no matter how carefully George planned, Charkie
