Balfour overheard Lowe admitting to Kate that he was an English spy, tasked with eliminating Blackbeard. He relayed this information to Selima, who promptly dispatched pirates to locate Lowe. Meanwhile, Antoinette’s ordeal of torture persisted at the hands of Jagger, who now employed Lowe's sketchbook as proof that Edward Teach, known as Blackbeard, was still alive.
