I rarely engage with thrillers, either in book form or on screen, so that might influence my assessment. Generally speaking, I wasn't particularly moved by this series. I find it hard to connect with villains who fall into predictable patterns—those brilliant masterminds who consistently outmaneuver the heroes until the final moments of the story. It’s easy to see why they prioritize their work; it’s a constant game of one-upmanship. Alright, maybe I'm being dramatic. And the pervasive uncertainty about everyone's motives became overwhelming. I don’t expect movies to be completely believable, but once I understood the writers’ approach, I could anticipate developments well in advance. I also question this current habit of filming so many scenes in near darkness. The performances and writing seemed passable, though they didn’t manage to fully capture my interest or make the show enjoyable.
