Synopsis

Ko, Akaishi, and Nakanishi were beginning their high school careers, but with the arrival of a new coach, only a select few would be chosen for the varsity squad. Consequently, Ko and his friends found themselves joining the Portables, the junior varsity team that used a portable classroom as their clubhouse. At Aoba Junior High, a newcomer had recently been appointed captain of the team.
