Synopsis

Hoping for an opportunity to perform, Pete spends the night distributing flyers for a comedy club, a practice he soon discovers is called "barking." On the streets of New York, he encounters indifferent passersby, befriends aspiring comedians, becomes embroiled in a territorial dispute with a competing flyer distributor, and receives an encouraging word from a seasoned performer.
