Synopsis

Carmen claims she is innocent. Emílio gets hit by Florêncio. Carmen asks Marocas to take her place at the company while she is away. Emílio finds that the bandits stole Marocas' painting and left the safe untouched. Marocas convinces Agustina to offer a dinner in solidarity with Carmen. Gabiru gives Carmen a letter written by Dom Sabino.
