Synopsis

Marocas refuses Emílio's marriage proposal. Dom Sabino invites Cecílio to live in the mansion. Teófilo tells Dom Sabino that Agustina wants to force him to marry Coronela. Emílio blackmails Marocas into marrying him, threatening to show the documents that prove that Dom Sabino committed heinous crimes during the Paraguayan War.
