Synopsis

Kenneth Trant, the zealous head of a religious sect, learns that his girlfriend Joanna is not dead, and his focus abruptly shifts to Dean, the man he had entrusted with her disposal. Joanna being hospitalized, Detective Sergeant Beck secures a confession from Dean while criminal psychologist Fitz attempts to discern the underlying reality. He convinces DCI Wise to observe Dean in his cell, though a sense of foreboding suggests their opportunity may have already passed.
