Synopsis

Sally was astonished when Patrick appeared at her flat at three in the morning, come to dispatch a spider. He’d dreamt of her distress. What could it signify? Did Patrick harbor a subconscious desire to shield her? A more unsettling question arose: did he possess one? Prompted by their friends, Sally and Patrick, separately, began to recount the story of their first encounter.
