Synopsis

Jeff outlined a phenomenon he called "The Giggle Loop" to the group: the more one attempts to stifle laughter during solemn moments, the greater the urge to laugh becomes. Jane’s aunt had passed away, and she asked Steve to attend the funeral, to maintain the pretense of being her boyfriend. Susan, without invitation, decided to accompany them, necessitating that Patrick pose as her partner. Consequently, all six of them found themselves traveling to the service.
