Synopsis

The pursuit began with a stolen motorcycle, leading deputies on a chase into the hills. The rider, unsuccessful in shaking off his pursuers within the town limits, continued the escape upward. Inside the patrol car, a man insisted he had arrived home and was therefore ineligible for detention, his arguments echoing in the confined space. Evidence suggested the suspect concealed more than just methamphetamine within his possession.
