Synopsis

Driven by desperation, a man attempts to leap from a moving vehicle as his companion initiates a reckless pursuit. A trusting soul, eager for an easy profit, unwittingly invites peril into his own life. Meanwhile, a deputy sheriff finds himself compelled to investigate a familiar figure he observes walking alone on a deserted road.
