Synopsis

Tension escalated when officers deployed stun guns after a suspect’s increasingly erratic behavior suggested an attempt at deception. Elsewhere, a lawbreaker attempted to dissuade detectives from their certainty, insisting he had not witnessed the crime they believed he had. A patrol officer arrived on the scene of a call to oversee a transaction of such absurdity it bordered on the ridiculous.
