Synopsis

(Fort Worth, TX - 2:03 AM Traffic Stop) Officer David Tate of the North Division notes that nearly everyone in the Baker district has a nickname; his is "Tater," a playful reference to his surname. While crime is prevalent in the area, he finds particular satisfaction in apprehending car thieves and burglars – a pursuit he considers deeply rewarding. Tonight, he observes a vehicle with a malfunctioning headlight on 28th Street. The car proceeds south on McHenry Avenue, disregarding a stop sign.
