Synopsis

Eddie Albert portrays an American veteran of the Great War, now residing in France with his French wife – a woman he encountered during his military service. The relentless barrage from a distant German artillery piece triggers a disorienting episode, and he is overcome by the delusion that he is once again engaged in the fighting of his past.
