Synopsis

The rescue of a downed pilot is always fraught with peril, but the situation becomes acutely unsettling when Lieutenant Hanley’s weary squad mistakenly fires upon the very person who had led them to the American hero's location. Reluctant to undertake this mission, Hanley finds some reassurance in the promise of a seasoned Maquisard truck driver, who assures him safe passage to the farm where the French Resistance has sheltered the wounded pilot.
