Synopsis

Caje is burdened with the act of killing a Frenchman, and seeks a path toward reconciliation through the dead man's daughter. His comrades grow increasingly concerned for him, sensing a dangerous shift within. Saunders feels the urgency to restore Caje to his former self, before the darkness consumes him entirely. An opportunity arises when the town is assailed by the Germans, offering a means to pull Caje back from the precipice.
