Synopsis

She sought refuge from the war's brutality in a garden of serene beauty, a haven untouched by the bombs that scarred the land. Refusing to abandon this sanctuary, the young woman remained stubbornly rooted there. Concerned for her safety, Saunders made repeated attempts to persuade her to leave before the advancing Germans reached her.
