Synopsis

The field hospital held an unexpected reunion for P.F.C. Marsh and his wife, Lieutenant Amelia Marsh. He requested leave to see her, and while he awaited authorization, news arrived of Private Kirby’s unauthorized absence. Kirby had sought refuge at the very hospital. With Kirby’s absence creating a void, Marsh was assigned a mission to fill the gap, a task that ultimately resulted in injury.
