Synopsis

While serving as Lieutenant Hanley’s messenger, Braddock is taken into service by a domineering colonel as his jeep driver. The colonel soon decides to operate the vehicle himself, and his careless driving leads to an accident that renders both men unconscious. Upon regaining consciousness, Braddock is captured by a German patrol. Because he is wearing the colonel's coat—donned for warmth during the ride—the Germans assume he is the officer himself, and no amount of explanation can dissuade them
