Synopsis

In London, while observing the methods of the British police, Columbo finds himself embroiled in the death of Roger Haversham, a wealthy businessman who had been supporting the careers of two fading theatrical stars. Haversham, feeling betrayed, threatened to ruin their prospects and was subsequently murdered. Soon after, his butler discerned the reasons behind the killing and used this knowledge to blackmail the actors. Cornered, they were forced to kill him, staging the scene to resemble a sui
