Synopsis

The architect murdered his business partner, a calculated act of deception. He allowed Lieutenant Columbo to fixate on him, subtly guiding the detective's suspicions. Columbo, convinced the body was buried within the foundation of a new construction, would soon order an excavation. It was precisely the location the architect desired; a place so unlikely, so unforeseen, that Columbo, with his methodical yet unpredictable nature, would never consider it.
