Synopsis

A year after his death, the victim’s credit card is used, prompting Lilly to reopen the 2005 case of a counselor at a youth rehabilitation center. He had been shot just two weeks before he was due to testify in a murder trial. As Lilly investigates, she develops an unsettling sense of kinship with the counselor, a connection that threatens to compromise her objectivity and the progress of the investigation.
