Synopsis

The 1953 murder of a white schoolteacher, a man known for his sympathies toward communism and his work in the burgeoning civil rights movement, has been reopened at the request of his youngest son. The renewed investigation reveals a chilling coincidence: the victim was killed on the very day the Rosenbergs were executed, and he had been scheduled to testify before the House Committee on Un-American Activities the following day.
