Synopsis

In 1964, the body of Daniel Holtz, a promising college baseball player, was discovered in an alley behind a gay bar, bearing the marks of a brutal assault. Lilly takes up the case, spurred by Daniel’s mother's desperate plea – a wish for justice before her own passing. As Lilly delves deeper into the investigation, she uncovers the pervasive abuse suffered by gay men during that era. Her inquiries suggest the fatal blows may have been struck by a police officer’s nightstick.
