Synopsis

The 1958 death of an unidentified six-year-old boy, discovered in a field within a cardboard box, has prompted a renewed investigation. The catalyst for this reopening is the appearance of a small suitcase left before a church, bearing the child’s photograph and his well-worn cowboy hat. The subsequent inquiry reveals that the boy resided at a Catholic orphanage and was adopted just two days prior to his unexplained death.
