Synopsis

Acting on an improbable lead, police achieved a breakthrough in capturing a serial rapist. Separately, after a quarter of a century, investigators have finally closed the case of a six-year-old girl’s murder; she had been compelled to endure a frigid bath as punishment for painting her nails pink without authorization.
