Synopsis

The bodyboarder, battered by the turbulent sea, clung desperately to a rocky outcrop as the tide surged relentlessly. Calling for a lifeboat was deemed too perilous in the treacherous conditions; the helicopter crew represented the sole chance of rescue, and time was of the essence. Meanwhile, a woman found herself trapped in the clinging mud, the Coastguard Rescue Team arriving within minutes, aware of the danger of the mud compressing against her body and potentially cutting off circulation.
