Synopsis

Kaori resolved to host a party for the orphans at Kusunoki House, but Ryo refused to join her. Her hopes dwindled when she learned that the property was slated for closure by Mr. Ookouchi, the landowner. Desperate, she asked Ryo for assistance, only to be met with a firm refusal. Suspecting that the house’s proprietor, Mr. Hitiyoshi, had been defrauded of his ownership papers, Kaori decided to act independently. She broke into Ookouchi's safe and stole several documents, including the land deed.
