I'm honestly shocked. It’s full of Socialist themes and lacks any real substance; it feels like just a collection of American film references haphazardly assembled. Occasionally, the series manages to be genuinely funny—like when the characters struggle to say the names of inexpensive Ikea carpets from Danish towns. It’s also telling that the African female character and the Muslim one are so well-received in what is essentially one of Europe's most predominantly white countries, especially considering the recent surge in support for far-right political parties. Another amusing aspect is how the Muslim character embodies all the superstitions historically associated with Jewish people just a hundred years ago: greed, secretive dealings, and employing local Christians. Since there’s a “vampire” figure in the fairytale storyline, I wonder if they'll depict the Muslim character engaging in dark rituals involving Christian baby blood?
