Synopsis

The inaugural Chopped New Year’s competition commenced with an extravagant appetizer basket. Inside, a prize of fifty dollars' worth of caviar and other luxurious ingredients awaited the chefs. As they delved deeper into the entree baskets, they discovered more premium selections alongside a traditional Southern New Year's legume. In the final round, the remaining chefs faced a challenging dessert selection: elaborately decorated ice cream cones and a meager offering of grapes.
