Synopsis

In the Chopped kitchen, the first challenge demands ingenuity: can the chefs harmonize escargot with the fiery bite of red jalapenos? A moment of carelessness with a paper towel threatens to escalate into a perilous situation at one station. With Chinese eggplant and ground lamb in the entree basket, three chefs find themselves drawn to a surprisingly similar culinary path. Later, two determined finalists vie for victory, crafting ambitious desserts from garnet yams and roasted noodles.
